We are delighted that the new Europaplatz Tübingen, of which our cycle station in Tübingen is a component, has been nominated for the German Urban Development Award 2025.

A total of 85 innovative and sustainable urban development projects from all over Germany were submitted in the two categories ‘Urban Development Award’ and ‘Special Award’. These are characterised by creative approaches to spatial development - in both urban and rural contexts. Europaplatz in Tübingen is one of 20 projects that have now been honoured.

At the award ceremony on July 25th 2025 in Berlin, we will find out whether we receive a commendation, an award or the prize - we keep the fingers crossed.
