How do we want to live and work in the Stuttgart region in the future?

One hundred years after the opening of the Weissenhofsiedlung in Stuttgart in 1927, the International Building Exhibition 2027 Stuttgart Region (IBA'27) is addressing this question. The IBA aims to make the journey into the future visible and tangible – through innovative projects throughout the region, novel infrastructures, and temporary experiments. Small and large urban building blocks define a new approach to density and proximity. New living and working environments come together in productive urban neighborhoods. Sustainable materials and construction methods create added value for the environment and society.
