We are delighted to have won first prize in the invited competition for the new all-day childcare centre at the Evangelical Jenaplan School in Mössingen.

Our design conceives of the all-day care centre as a vibrant place of learning, interaction and shared experiences. The aim was to develop a compact and clearly structured building that integrates naturally into the school campus whilst also establishing its own distinct identity.

The jury particularly praised the “strong urban planning and architectural concept”, which “despite its clarity and compactness, generates excellent spatial and design qualities and promises great potential for identification”.

We are delighted to receive this award and would like to thank our design partners, merz kley partner and Transsolar KlimaEngineering, for their dedicated and inspiring collaboration. Together, we were able to develop a sustainable and future-proof concept for all-day childcare.
