Shaping the construction transition: Simple. Reusable. With Recycled Building Materials

13 May 2026

We are delighted that our colleague David Deussen will be speaking at the 13th Circular Construction Symposium in Stuttgart on May 21st, 2026. Under this year’s theme, “Shaping the construction transition: Simple. Reusable. With Recycled Building Materials”, experts from research, planning and construction practice will discuss strategies for a resource-efficient and sustainable building culture.

David Deussen will speak on the topic of “Transformation of Existing Buildings” as part of the programme item “Pioneering! Architecture in Transformation”, providing insights into our approach and practice regarding the continued development of existing buildings.

The symposium is organised by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy in collaboration with ifeu – the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research in Heidelberg, and will take place at the Sparkassenakademie Stuttgart.
